Max Loves... Zooey Deschanel

With the launch of New Girl on C4, our new obsession with HelloGiggles.com and her quirky snaps on Instagram, this week we’re loving everything Zooey Deschanel. Deschanel is an American actress, musician and singer-songwriter. She’s acted in films such as Almost Famous, Elf and The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, but is now starring in New Girl a show about an offbeat young woman who moves into an apartment loft with three single men. We love her eccentric style, various talents (she plays the piano, banjo and ukulele!) and the fact that she is never afraid of looking like a geek on screen. We also love her vast input online - including the amazing site HelloGiggles.com which she cofounded with producer Sophia Rossi and internet sensation Molly McAleer. In their words it’s “…the ultimate entertainment destination for smart, independent and creative females...” and we’re addicted to the ever changing content, stunning images and interesting articles.
